After all that, got to squeeze in one more.

A reader added this link to some great photos, including a pristine Raleigh Roamer, on a comment on the post Raleigh Roamer. I  couldn’t let such loveliness stay buried so deeply in the blog. Enjoy (and thanks Wan). Here’s a sneak preview:

  1. Hi there,

My name is Richard. I have been looking through your blog (love all the pictures btw) and I came across your ‘ellusive Peugeot’ post.

I happen to have one that I used up until last year when I moved out of the city. It is a 1970’s British Racing Green Nouveau Style Peugeot Folding bike in perfect condition with all the original parts, including the original Michelin Tires. It literally needs no work.

I loved that bike and always got compliments when riding on it or when I was parking up – literally almost every time lol. The reason I don’t use it anymore is because I moved out of the city, so I have a more ‘long-distance’ bike now and I treated myself to one with an ultra lightweight frame.

So, rather than just have it sit up in my loft all alone I would rather someone be using it. It is a shame to have it stored away somewhere, so I was wondering if you (or anyone you know) would be interested.

I can send pictures of it from all angles if you are. I really do want it to go where it will be appreciated.

    Best Regards,

    Richard.
