Nominal irony
Here’s a little something sent to me by the man behind the very fine Slow RPM site.
Not retro, but small with an ironic name, so I couldn’t resist. Thanks Ian.
And here it is again with a lovely pink friend, what a nice pair they make.

There’s a “stretched” Hummer thingy that gets around Newcastle for weddings etc. – this and that made me wonder if there’s such a thing as a folding tandem !
indeed there is at least one (at least I am pretty sure it’s a folder) – a Grazia Tandem documented in an old post of mine Gallery of gorgeousness part one (hope this link works, don’t normally put links in comments, looks a little long winded)
Actually on closer inspection of that grainy little pic I think it’s just a small wheeler, not a folder…still cool though. Come to think of it I have a memory of being able to hire a smallwheeled tandem at Studley Park Boat House (on the Yarra River, Melbourne)…maybe the late eighties? How about that?
Very cool, “grazie”, LBB !
Tokyo is paradise for a fan of little bikes. Most of them have ridiculous names. ie named after cars.More to come.
cheers,
ian
